Essential Functions:
- Follows our safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Responsible for your own Success; able to plan work, identify obstacles and training needs
- Conduct product or material inspection and testing using various types of equipment including the co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM).
- Perform data entry and reporting of test results including graphing and statistical analysis.
- Locate productions documents, inspection records and quality records for review
- Conducts in process visual inspections and retrieval of parts for lab testing
- Scan finished product
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized
- Preform QC in the print dept
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and handle a minimum of 20 pounds repetitively
- Able to read and understand customer drawings and specifications
- Read, write, communicate and understand the English language
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of quality control and production documentation
- Working knowledge of operation of quality control evaluation devices including scales, pi-tape, calipers and gauges
- Off shift work maybe required
- Job requires some lifting, extended standing and walking will be required
- All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (eyeglasses, etc. where required)
- Prior printing experience preferred but no required
shift differential for 3rd shift
