Summary
Pallet pullers are responsible for the pulling and replacing the pallets that have the completed number of parts on it using a manual pallet jack. Manually band the product when requested before taking to the wrapping area.
Essential Functions:
• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Make trays and place on pallets as needed.
• Able to identify the proper color tray needed on the pallet for that order
• Pull completed pallets and replace with empty one
• Put completed parts from catch table to pallet when time permits
• Able to fill in on machines for breaks or when short on staff
• Responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized
• Performs all other duties assigned.
Requirements:
• Must be able to lift, pull and handle a minimum of 45-50 pounds repetitively
• Able to use a manual pallet jack
• Able to use manual banding equipment
• Detail orientated and organized
• Perform work from a standing position and consist of walking the entire shift
• All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (eye glasses, etc., where required)
