Human Resources Manager – Plant

Summary

The HR Manager develops and administers human resources policies and programs across various manufacturing facilities.  This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s goals, ensuring a high level of employee engagement, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and manage a team of HR generalists across multiple manufacturing plants.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the HR team, fostering professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure HR initiatives support overall company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Address employee relations matters promptly and effectively and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement HR programs aligned with business objectives.
  • Implement effective onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Implement performance management systems to drive individual and team excellence.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and career development.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
  • Support leadership development initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Generate reports for senior management on HR-related KPIs.

Education

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

 Experience

  • Minimum five years’ experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience managing multi-site teams in a manufacturing environment preferred.

 

 

OTHER

Certifications

  • SHRM -CP /SCP or HRCI certification preferred.

Languages

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
