Summary
The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. The Chief Human Resources Officer reports to the President/CEO and is a member of the executive leadership team who will lead strategic human resource development consistent with the core values of M&M.
Responsibilities
· Provides strategic Human Resources leadership to the organization through executive level contributions to organizational decision making.
· Models, defines, and operationalizes the M&M culture to employees. Embeds core values and M&M culture into all aspects of the employee experience including recruiting, policies, performance management and training and development.
· Creates and executes a vision and roadmap for Human Resources that aligns with and supports the company’s strategic vision and core values.
· Aligns, directs, and develops a high performing HR team. Coaches, provides support and professional development opportunities to the team to enhance the organization and enable their individual success.
· Consults with business partners to understand their business and talent needs and identify opportunities for HR solutions.
· Oversees all human resources functions including talent acquisition & retention, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, career development, succession planning, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.
· Identify and lead Employee Engagement efforts that enable an actively engaged, inclusive and high performing workforce.
· Develops and implements a comprehensive total rewards program that is competitive, aligned with organizational culture and cost-effective.
· Implements and maintains a compensation structure for both exempt and non-exempt employees and oversees salary administration.
· Oversee the creation of strategically aligned learning and development plan that addresses current and future skill needs as well as employee professional development and engagement.
· Develops and manages a model of HR service delivery aimed at addressing the needs of all internal stakeholders.
· Identifies and influences opportunities to improve areas of HR operations.
· Evaluates, advocates, and implements HR technology solutions that will enhance HR operations, improve the employee experience, and support achievement of business outcomes.
· Develops budgets and prioritizes initiatives to achieve HR department and organizational goals.
· Seeks out and selects vendors and other external resources to accelerate and enhance operations and achieve strategic goals.
· Maintains knowledge of labor and employment laws, regulations, and best practices and develops appropriate policies and programs.
· Oversees employee investigations and progressive discipline process.
